Welcome to BarnBuilt Hockey. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, online store, products, services, content, and any purchases made through our website.

By visiting our website, placing an order, creating an account, signing up for updates, or using our online store, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

BarnBuilt Hockey is a Calgary-based hockey training brand focused on training equipment, skill-development tools, hockey content, and future events such as clinics, camps, and tournaments.

Our products are designed to support hockey training, off-ice skill development, shooting, puck control, passing, and related training activities.

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm BarnBuilt Hockey, our customers, our website, or any third party.

You may not:

• Misuse the website or attempt to interfere with its operation 
• Submit false, misleading, abusive, or harmful information 
• Attempt to access areas of the website, customer accounts, or systems without authorization 
• Copy, reproduce, or use BarnBuilt Hockey content without permission 
• Use our website or products for illegal, unsafe, or unauthorized purposes

When you place an order through our online store, you agree to provide accurate billing, shipping, and contact information.

All orders are subject to acceptance, availability, payment authorization, and fraud-prevention review. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit an order if we believe there is an error, payment issue, inventory issue, suspected fraud, misuse, or violation of these Terms.

Once an order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirmation does not guarantee final acceptance of the order if payment, inventory, shipping, pricing, or fraud issues arise.

Prices are listed in Canadian dollars, unless otherwise stated.

Applicable taxes, shipping fees, and any additional charges will be shown during checkout where possible. The Competition Bureau says businesses should not promote an unattainable price where mandatory fixed charges are added later, except certain government-imposed charges such as sales tax. 

We work to keep product descriptions, images, pricing, and availability accurate. However, errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or cancel orders affected by pricing, availability, or product listing mistakes.

If we advertise a sale or discount, the regular price must be a genuine price and businesses must be able to support savings claims. 

Payments must be completed through the payment methods available at checkout.

By submitting payment information, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method. We may use third-party payment processors to securely handle payments. BarnBuilt Hockey does not intentionally store full payment card details unless clearly stated by the payment provider or platform.

Shipping options, costs, and estimated delivery times will be displayed during checkout where available.

Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by carrier delays, weather, holidays, customs, supply issues, or other circumstances outside our control.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. BarnBuilt Hockey is not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect shipping information provided by the customer.

Risk of loss may transfer to you once the order is delivered to the shipping address provided, subject to applicable law and carrier policies.

We want customers to be satisfied with BarnBuilt Hockey products. Our return and exchange policy is as follows:

Return Window: 14 days from when the product is received
Condition: Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned with original packaging where possible.
Proof of Purchase: A receipt or order confirmation may be required.

Some items may be final sale, including:

• Custom-made or personalized products 
• Used training equipment 
• Clearance items 
• Gift cards 
• Products damaged by misuse, improper setup, or normal wear and tear 

Shipping fees may be non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product. 

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method where possible once the returned item has been received and inspected.

BarnBuilt Hockey training equipment is intended for hockey training and skill development.

By purchasing or using our products, you agree to use them responsibly, safely, and only for their intended purpose. Hockey training can involve risk, including injury, property damage, and equipment damage.

You agree to:

• Read and follow any product instructions, warnings, or setup guides 
• Use products in a safe training area 
• Wear appropriate protective equipment where needed 
• Supervise children and youth during training 
• Inspect products before use 
• Stop using any product that appears damaged, unstable, or unsafe 

BarnBuilt Hockey is not responsible for injuries, damage, or losses caused by misuse, unsafe setup, lack of supervision, improper surfaces, modifications, or use outside the product’s intended purpose.

Product availability may change without notice.

We may update, modify, discontinue, or improve products, product designs, materials, features, packaging, pricing, or availability at any time.

Product images may differ slightly from the final product due to manufacturing changes, screen settings, material batches, or product improvements.

BarnBuilt Hockey may offer product-specific warranties on certain items. Any warranty details will be stated on the product page, packaging, or warranty policy.

Unless clearly stated, our products are provided “as is” and “as available,” subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

We do not guarantee that any product will produce a specific training result, skill improvement, performance outcome, or competitive advantage. Improvement depends on many factors, including effort, coaching, consistency, age, ability, and training environment.

Warranty or guarantee claims in Canada should not be misleading and should have a reasonable prospect of being carried out. 

Content in the Drill Zone, including drills, tips, training ideas, videos, guides, and advice, is provided for general informational and training purposes only.

It is not a substitute for professional coaching, medical advice, injury assessment, or sport-specific supervision.

You are responsible for deciding whether a drill, exercise, product, or training idea is appropriate for your age, skill level, physical condition, equipment, and training environment.

BarnBuilt Hockey may promote or host future events, clinics, camps, tournaments, or community activities.

Event details, dates, pricing, rules, registration terms, refund policies, waivers, eligibility, and safety requirements may be provided separately for each event.

Participation may require additional terms, waivers, parental consent for minors, and safety rules.

Our website and online store are intended for use by adults, parents, guardians, coaches, and users who can legally provide consent.

Children under 13 should not submit personal information, create an account, sign up for updates, contact us through forms, or place orders without permission and involvement from a parent or legal guardian.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information or placed an order without proper consent, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate steps.

All website content, branding, logos, product names, photos, graphics, videos, written content, designs, product concepts, Drill Zone content, and other materials are owned by or licensed to BarnBuilt Hockey unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, sell, modify, distribute, or use our content, branding, or product designs without written permission.

If you submit reviews, comments, photos, videos, testimonials, feedback, drill ideas, product suggestions, or other content to BarnBuilt Hockey, you confirm that you have the right to share it.

You grant BarnBuilt Hockey permission to use, display, edit, repost, or share that content for business, marketing, product development, and promotional purposes, unless you tell us otherwise in writing.

You may not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, infringing, offensive, or violates another person’s rights.

Our website may link to third-party websites, platforms, payment providers, shipping services, social media pages, embedded videos, or other external services.

BarnBuilt Hockey is not responsible for the content, policies, security, availability, or practices of third-party websites or services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BarnBuilt Hockey, its owners, employees, contractors, suppliers, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, injury, property damage, or business interruption arising from your use of our website, products, services, training content, or online store.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BarnBuilt Hockey from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
